About The Founder

Nicole Nkemateh is a first-generation Cameroonian American and a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in speech communication from the University of Maryland and went on to complete her master’s in social work at the University of Kentucky. Nicole’s passion for serving and uplifting others is shaped by personal experience and a deep sense of purpose. She is devoted to mentoring youth, inspiring others through powerful storytelling in her novels, and spreading awareness about mental health and cancer. In all her work, Nicole strives to build spaces of healing, hope, an empowerment, ensuring that no one feels alone in their journey and that every voice is seen, heard, and valued.
